Hot tub repair and servicing in St Ives

We repair and service hot tubs and swim spas in St Ives, Carbis Bay, Lelant and Halsetown, for family homes and the town’s many holiday cottages.

Helpful, not essential

You don’t need to prepare anything. If you can tell us any of these, they help the visit go smoothly:

  • Where we can park or stop to unload, and any permit or loading bay you use.
  • Roughly how far it is from the road to the tub, and whether there are steps.
  • Whether the tub is on a balcony, a terrace or a shared courtyard.

St Ives streets are narrow and parking is tight, so this helps us plan the visit.

Cottages and lets

Tubs that guests use

St Ives has plenty of holiday cottages, and many of them have a hot tub. A tub used by different guests every week needs more regular care than one at home.

If you’re not there, a keyholder, cleaner or letting agent can let us in. We’ll ring you with what we find and the cost before we fit anything.

For regular care of a let, see holiday-let hot tub care. Our guest instructions page has instructions you can leave for guests. If guests use your tub, our HSG282 guide explains what HSG282 asks of owners. As the owner, the duty to manage the risk stays with you.

Steep gardens

Terraces, decks and walls

A lot of St Ives gardens are steep or terraced, so tubs are often set into decking, built against a wall or tucked into a corner of a small terrace. That matters, because most repairs mean taking a cabinet panel off.

If only one side of the tub can be reached, or it’s sunk into the deck, that can change how long the job takes. If we can’t work on it safely where it is, we’ll say so.

Tub playing up in St Ives?

Ring us, or WhatsApp a photo of the tub and tell us where we can park.

If your tub is sunk into decking or the ground, or set against a wall, it helps to mention it when you book. If you’re not sure, a photo is fine.
